Luxury 140sqm apartment sleeping up to 6 people in a historical Palazzo in the very heart of Asolo, viewing the Queen Cornaro Castle. Asolo is a wonderful, unique, medieval village called the 'Pearl of Veneto’ offering a variety of cultural and artistic amenities in an area of outstanding natural beauty: for centuries it has been a favorite attraction being frequented by illustrious figures such as Gabriele D'Annunzio, Eleonora Duse, Robert Browning, Ernest Hemingway, Henry James, Hugo von Hofmansthal, Freya Stark, Arnold Schoemberg.. It’s close to some of the most beautiful Palladian Villas and it’s strategically located near Treviso, Vicenza, Bassano del Grappa, Padua and Venice. Thanks to the famous ‘Colli Asolani Wine Road’ it is also the perfect destination for wine and good food lovers. This magnifically restored apartment displays 18th Century authentic frescoes and 'marmorini', as well as unique pieces of furniture. It has a huge salon and a dining area, a modern kitchen, one additional 'sala'/bedroom, two double bedrooms, a dressing area, two bathrooms, a laundry (with washing machine and dryer). A storage is available at the ground floor for bicycles and golf equipments. At the ground floor a hisotoric Cafè animates the central Piazza of the town. NEAREST AIRPORTS: -Treviso (32 km) -Venice (49 km) -Verona (92 km) NEAREST ATTRACTIONS: Maser, Altivole, Possagno, Castelfranco Veneto, Bassano del Grappa, Marostica, Cittadella. NEAREST CITIES: Treviso, Venice, Vicenza, Padua, Verona. Together with its spectacular surroundings, Asolo is a must-see destination set in one of the most interesting historical and artistic parts of the Veneto region. In the 16 century, with Veneto’s architect Andrea Palladio (1508–1580) a new type of mansion was born: the temple-villa. Thus, Asolo and its immediate surroundings are full of fascinating Palladian mansions and architectural treasures to be discovered: just to give an example, ‘Villa Scotti-Pasini’ in the city center, ‘Villa Barbini Rinaldi’ at CASELLA D'ASOLO and ‘Villa Barbaro’ at MASER, a masterpiece by Palladio attracting visitors from all-over the world. SPORTS: golfing, horse riding, walking, biking, hiking.. Golf lovers are recommended to play at the "Asolo Golf Club" (few minutes away from Asolo): it is set in spectacular 140 hectares of private parkland, featuring a 27-hole golf course, an outdoor heated pool, a fitness centre and tennis courts. Private golf lessons are also provided upon request. In Castelfranco Veneto, the" Ca’ Amata" Golf Club is also very attractive: the course is set in the 18th Century park surrounding “Villa Rizzetti Ca’ Amata”, a stunning Venetian Villa dating back to 1711. Particular care has been taken to the design of the playing holes, which are surrounded by water canals with bridges and cascades, even a lake, creating an absolutely spectacular landscape. The restaurant is open every day for members and guests who wish to taste delicious dishes from the traditional Veneto Cuisine. Guided tours to the Villa are also available upon request. The Asolo area offers a variety of bike itineraries and foot paths and it is the ideal place for relaxing immersed in the green of the hills. Moreover, with more than 150 marked trails, the Monte Grappa offers a wide choice of trails of great historical and landscape value, mostly created during the First World War. PHOTO SHOOTING: Due to the elegant interiors of the apartment, the location is also very suitable for Photo Shooting of the Guests willing to take away a great & special memory of their holiday in Asolo.
