Our home is a 3 bedroom, 1 bath with 2 queen beds, 1 daybed and 1 queen size air mattress if needed. Home also has the original hardwood floors. Kitchen is furnished with microwave, crock pot, coffee bar and full size refrigerator and everything you need plus a full size washer and dryer. Dining room table is large enough for 6 people. Electric and water furnished and house has central heat and air conditioning. Garage for storage if needed. Private fenced backyard. Message me about setting up a tent. Covered patio has a large gas grill with propane provided and a large farm style table and chairs for seating up to 8 people on the outdoor patio. Propane fire pit with beautiful glass rock just off the covered patio. Meals may be provided for an additional fee depending on the number of occupants. This home may accommodate up to 7 people. If you are flying in to the Elizabethton Airport, we can pick you up at the airport. Property manager and your own private concierge is located just across the street from the home and can assist you with any answers to questions you may have regarding the area or the property. Manager can also recommend family/locally owned restaurants for whatever food you may be craving. Manager is an excellent story teller and can even provide you with the information and history regarding the Cherokee settlement in the area where the home sits. Built in 1966, our home has a vintage vibe and conveniently located just 15 miles to Bristol Motor Speedway, 42 miles to Grandfather Mountain, 6 miles to Wilbur Damn on Watauga Lake where the fishing is fabulous, 42 miles to Abingdon, VA where the historic Barter Theater is located, 12 miles to Rocky Mount Historic State Park where you step back in time to the year 1791 and find yourself immersed in a working Appalachian community. The house is within 3 miles to the downtown Elizabethton Covered Bridge State Historic Park which is a wonderful site for photos, 7-15 miles to Tennessee Hills, East Tennessee or Steve's Soulshine Distillery where you may tour and experience free tasting. Sycamore Shoals State Historic Park is within 5 miles and situated along the Watauga River. The park is a National Historic Landmark where a series of events critical to the establishment of the states of Tennessee and Kentucky took place. Several interesting events are scheduled throughout the year. Also, don't miss a visit to Roan Mountain State Park Rhododendron Festival where the Rhododendron grow wild and in full bloom in June. Our home is located only one hour from Boone and Asheville, NC. Home is a minimum $500 per week depending on the season and $150 cleaning fee. Cleaning fee may be adjusted depending on number of occupants. Our home is available for nightly rental for $80-$300 depending on the season with no nightly minimum and a $150 cleaning fee (negotiable depending on the number of people and the length of your stay.)
