We had a wonderful time staying here. The condo is so well equipped, the owners have given such a lot of thought to everything, little bits that are often missing from self catering places have been provided here.
Communication from the owners is excellent & prompt. All the information for accessing the property was sent to us in plenty of time, along with contact details for if there are problems during the stay (there weren’t).
The condo has underground allocated parking for 1 vehicle, it’s coded access to the parking area, from the information given us there is storage available as well but we didn’t need this. The elevators to the floor the condo is on are just opposite the parking slot, so no distance to haul bags etc. all access is coded which is very reassuring.
The condo is beautiful. The views of the mountains are spectacular & ever changing. There is a fully equipped kitchen, range style cooker, full fridge & freezer, 2 coffee makers, 1 pod one with pods provided, microwave, blender etc., excellent range of pans, crockery & cutlery. In the cupboards there are herbs, spices, coffee, tea, sugar, filter papers for the coffee maker, foil & cling film. There are also plenty of plastic storage containers, brilliant to use to take picnics out for the day. This is one big open plan room with a breakfast bar with seating for 3, a full size dining table that seats 6, there’s a laptop for guests to use which we found very helpful for checking in to our flights as the info couldn’t be uploaded from a tablet. The living room area is very comfy with 2 sofas, 1 a sofa bed, fire place (not available to use whilst we were there, think it’s available for use October - April). Plenty of occasional tables, with coaster provided & lamps. There is access to a covered balcony with a BBQ - we didn’t use this whilst we were there but a beautiful place I’d imagine to spend a quiet hour or so over looking the mountains. A corridor leads to a family bathroom, with bath & shower over. Twin room with comfy beds
The corridor continues to a laundry room with washer & dryer, there was detergent provided which is very thoughtful, I’d brought my own, but appreciated the thought given by the owner to providing sone. A couple of washing baskets are also provided.
Across the corridor is the master bedroom. This room is huge (by UK standards) & is absolutely beautiful. The bed is a super king (maybe bigger) ,the bedding is lovely with plenty of pillows & cushions. Bedside tables with lamps & extension leads with USB plugs for charging as well as convention plugs - the owners really have thought of everything!
There is a good size TV in the room as well. There is plenty of storage closets, additional bedding & towels as well.The master bathroom is a good size with a jet bath tub, a shower enclosure & vanity units. Once again the equipment here shows the owners thoughtfulness, hairdryer, plenty of toilet rolls, cleaning products & toiletries.
Wifi is good. There are DVDs there to watch, also a basket of brochures on places to visit. There’s a park pass & a fob to access the utility areas, hot tubs, gym etc, we didn’t end up using any of these additional facilities in the end, but nice to have them there.
The position in Canmore is great, everything in walking distance, Safeway just across the way & restaurants etc just a few minutes walk away. We walked the policeman’s creek trail one of the days directly from the condo.
We would love to stay again, the pictures are great but really don’t capture just how wonderful this condo is.
