Nickel Plate Lake is a glaciated lake extending into the Nickel Plate Provincial Park popular for fishing, hiking and wilderness camping (rainbow trout, dolly varden, sockeye salmon, bullhead, carp and cutthroat trout) Lake Okanagan and Skaha lake are a 40 minute drive from Apex and have all the boating, fishing and water sport activities and beaches associated with larger lakes.
Ski/Board Out is less than a 1 minute walk to a downhill run from the property. Ski/Board In is less than a 1 minute walk to the property.

Spacious kitchen with open plan living area, 46” flat screen TV with wide range of satellite channels, DVD player fire place and radiant heating. Main bedroom has it’s own private deck backing onto forested creek with mountain views.

2 full bathrooms. Upper bathroom: 3 pc with shower/tub, Lower bathroom: 3 pc with shower. Closet room with Washer/dryer. Full supply of fresh linens and towels provided with each rental.

Fully equipped kitchen ideal for self catering. Coffee, tea, sugar, herbs and spices provided. Glass top range, oven, microwave oven, large refrigerator, coffee maker, kettle, toaster and BBQ on lower rear deck.

Located village centre - just park your car and forget about it as you enjoy easy access to ski trails and apres-ski activities. Just minutes walk to village amenities including corner store, pub, bistro/coffee shop, restaurants, ski shop, ski rental, games room and ATM.

Lockable, heated garage available to guests for storage of ski equipment and spacious ‘boot-up’ area. No vehicles (unlimited parking available in public car park). Additional ski locker at front entrance.

Winter:
Mountain activities include 73 ski trails, terrain park, 1 km skating loop, ice rink, games room.
Nordic centre offering X country ski trails and equipment rental is a ten minute drive away.

Summer:
Popular in summer as a base for wine tours, fishing(Nickel Plate Lake), golfing (Penticton area), biking and hiking. Ideal for athletes participating in the many summer endurance events or hockey camps in and around Penticton which is a 40 minute drive away. Temperatures typically 10 deg C cooler than Penticton, making it very suitable for high altitude training or just as a secluded summer retreat with comfortable night temperatures
