    Our vacation rental home is just a short walk to Kinsmen beach and Invermere's unique shopping and dining, close to everything yet far enough from the train tracks to not be disturbed. The house is a 1920's Kootenay National Park two-story house that was moved from Radium Hot Springs and has had lots of updates. The spacious interior is warm and charming, with original character hardwood floors, and a full height double-sided fireplace. The large yard has numerous trees, which shade the house on hot summer days. Our home has 4 bedrooms and two full bathrooms. There is a king-size bed and bunk-bed in the large master bedroom with plenty of room for a playpen, 2 bedrooms with queen-size beds, and one bedroom with a double bed and a single bed. There is also a hide-a-bed in the family room. We can accommodate 8 adults or groups up to 10 people of adults and children. All bedding, linens, towels and pillows are provided. The full-size, fully equipped kitchen has an island and cook-top. Basic spices, coffee, coffee filters, sugar and tea are provided. There is a double-sided wood-burning fireplace that faces the kitchen on one side, and the living room on the other side. Upstairs there is a TV room with lots of videos and board games for the kids. High speed wireless internet and NetFlix are available. The large, fenced yard has lots of trees that offers privacy for family fun. There is a large spacious deck with patio tables, chairs and a propane BBQ at the front of the house, a smaller deck off the living room, and a balcony/deck with chairs on the upper level. There is a fire-pit in the backyard (firewood provided). Patio table and chairs are provided. There is an on-site property manager (who lives in a self-contained basement suite) who can assist with emergencies.

Watch as horse drawn carriages pass by our heritage house throughout the day in this historic part of James Bay. Go out on the town in Downtown's inner harbor, just minutes away. This large bachelor suite was completely renovated in 2011, everything was redone. The kitchen has new espresso cabinets, an island with granite counters and new stainless steel appliances including dishwasher. The bathroom was retiled, has a new vanity with a granite counter, new low flow toilet and new marble floors. The suite comes fully equipped with everything you need to enjoy your stay in Victoria. Queen size murphy bed with linens, double size sofabed, plasma TV with DVD player and digital cable, built in work desk for your laptop with free wireless internet access, towels, fully equipped kitchen with all cookware, plates, cutlery and more... Just bring your suite case and we'll take care of the rest. Street parking is along Menzies Street and the side street (Rithet). Off street parking may be available upon request.     Stargazer home worked well for the five of us. Clean with good linens. Easy to ski down to the village, but a hike to get back up the ridge, which was fine by us - the elevated views were fantastic. They really are equipped to deal with any weather. Best thing: the hot tub was fairly new and had a private, pleasant view. Their management group must be doing their job right, as the water was clean.
    Idea to improve: install a handle or mobility aid for the bath tub Jacuzzi. A 30-year-old female athlete slipped and fell into the tub. Perhaps some non-skid on the porcelain would help.
