Only a seven-minute walk to the village - close enough to enjoy all the activities, but tucked away for peace and quiet. The summer season boasts hiking trails and mountain biking plus 35 kilometers of cross country bike trails. The shared outdoor hot tub in the Foxglove building in Creekside is open during the ski season starting November 20th Due to COVID-19, the common room (sitting area and kitchen) is closed for the 2020/2021 winter season. On this main level, you also have a den with a pullout couch. This den has beautiful double doors so is very private for any guests that would like to use it as a bedroom. Upstairs, there are 4 bedrooms, the laundry room, and the hot tub. The Master Bedroom has a huge master ensuite with a soaker tub and shower. There is also a beautiful sitting room off the master bedroom – wake up and have your coffee looking at the Monashee Mountains. **There is a twin cot also available for use, however, occupancy still remains at 12** The hot tub is on the bedroom floor and has a great bathroom right off the deck so you can rinse off before and after a nice soak. For ski in, approach the runs located near the pioneer chair and ski in via the 'Westside' run. For avid cross country skiers the house is one of the closest to the Nordic Ski Centre. Three of the bedrooms have split kings (king beds that can be converted into twin beds). The fourth bedroom contains a double futon and a single bed in the loft near the master bedroom. Another bedroom located near the top of the stairs provides yet another comfortable sleeping area. The main floor enjoys soaring ceilings, has a spacious fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops. A large square dining table easily seats eight people, with another three people seated at the breakfast bar. The living room has amazing views, cozy couches and a large wood-burning fireplace. Just off the living room there is a wrap around deck with an undercover BBQ hooked up to a permanent gas line so you never have to worry about refilling a heavy tank. A sound system with CD player and iPod dock allow you to enjoy your own music by the fireplace. Relax with a glass of wine, your favorite book, and enjoy the 270-degree views. In the summer months open the windows and enjoy the mountain air. Located just off the main floor through the kitchen there is a mudroom to put your wet clothes, along with a full washer/dryer combo and a bathroom with a tiled shower. This room has heated flooring and drying hooks allowing your clothes and gear to dry quickly. The garage also has heated flooring and racks to put your skis/boards. On the lower floor there is ample space in the media room with a gas fireplace and a wet bar area. The two other bedrooms can sleep four in split kings. There is also a queen sofa bed and a full surround sound system with a large wall mounted flat screen TV.     Our property is a spectacularly located and wonderfully comfortable 4-bed 4-bath home located right on the skiway halfway between the summits of Silver Queen and Silver Woods chairs. Our home is the trailside half of the duplex in our photos. Easy ski in/out access even with small children. Apres ski, you can be in the large hot tub a minute after gliding home. This is an amazing location, 5 minutes walk or a 1 minute gentle ski to the village, with frequent complimentary resort shuttle if needed. Silver Star's "My OnePass" includes great activities in addition to downhill skiing. The top of tube town is an easy 5 minute walk away, and the skating pond is a quick slide downhill from there, and both are free with your ski pass. Included in your pass is immediate access from our home to 55 km of world-class trackset nordic skiing at Silver Star accessible from the skiway at the door of the home. A dual area nordic pass expands the possibilities to include another 50 km of trails at the adjacent linked Sovereign Lakes nordic area. Summer here is amazing too. Downhill and cross country biking is literally out the door, and the lakes of the Okanagan Valley are 30 minutes away. Relax in cool mountain comfort after your day of summer fun. Ample ski storage is available at the house, and the outside storage shed is stocked with sleds for use just outside our door. There is also a nicely forested backyard a few steps off the hot tub deck for the young ones to explore. Inside is stocked with many books and games, and is equipped with cable TV and wifi. The living and dining space features a large dining table plus bar stools, and comfortable attractive living room seating. The kitchen is recently remodelled with modern stainless appliances and granite counters, and is fully stocked for simple meals or gourmet enterprises. There is a large outdoor gas barbecue for guest use. The ground level includes a second fridge, and offers a lot of floorspace for families to spread themselves throughout the home. Full laundry facilities are on the ground level. There are two gas fireplaces, one the ground and one on the main level. There are two large water heaters to accommodate large groups in comfort. Parking is available for two vehicles. Extra cars may be parked free of charge in parking lot D, adjacent to the village. We have been skiing Silver Star since 1994, and we are thrilled to have taken ownership of this property in 2018. Photos here reflect the home as it is, as of March, 2018.     This condo is definitely beautiful and clean! The location is fabulous for both ski in and ski out. My only issue stems from the fact that neither the main TV nor the hot tub worked for a couple of days before they were fixed. This meant that for two out of three days of our stay, we were without these services. While the customer service department did eventually get both fixed, and some compensation was made, they definitely dropped the ball on being “on it”! A special thanks to Brock, who went out of his way to fix the hot tub problem as quickly as possible. The only reason I gave this condo three stars is because of this issue. It could have been a 4-5 rating.
