The front entrance has lots of room for gear with shelves and hooks and the ski locker is just outside the door. Excellent ski in / ski out access. The main level has an open kitchen, dining and sitting area with large windows and a beautiful unobstructed view of the Monashee Mountains, a pellet stove and a small deck with a BBQ. The den off of the front door has a futon and is also set up as a sitting area so that the kids can watch their TV shows too. The lower level has the main bathroom with a bathtub and the kids room has 2 bunk beds with an X-Box and the other 3 bedrooms have queen beds (all beds have down duvets).     This roomy ski in ski out unit is located on Perfection ski run. No need to walk or take an access gondola, just step outside your door and you are on a main ski run and seconds away from the Ridge Rocket Chair from which you can access the whole mountain. You can pop back in easily at anytime for a hot chocolate, lunch or forgotten items. A very easy in/out. Walking to the village center is a breeze taking only 4 or 5 minutes. Later on when it is time to relax you can use the shared hot tub, which is located steps away from the living room door, or tune in to the 50" TV for some entertainment. The kitchen is well equipped with most of what you would find in your own kitchen, including spices and other dry staples. Upstairs are four bedrooms and two bathrooms in addition to a powder room off the main living area allowing even larger groups to have some space. A wood stove adds to the ski chalet vibe. A perennial favorite for many families who come every year, in some cases for over two decades. Summer is a great time at Big White as well.     This property is the guest cabin on the same property as the main house. The rental cabin is at the back of the property, behind and slightly offset from the main house. It is on a quiet, private shared lane. Although the rental cabin does not sit directly on the beach, you can walk across the property, through a garden and down to the lake in less than a minute. You have a partial view of the lake from the cabin, deck and patio. The last part of the walk to the beach consists of a combination of 3 landings and 25 wide, brick steps. The beach consists mostly of small pebbles and rocks. Shuswap Lake is known for its calm, warm, clear water. Our beach does not have a drop off area and it is suitable for young children.The main shopping destination is Salmon Arm, a 40 minute drive by car from the cabin. The cabin is across the lake from Sicamous, a 15 minute boat trip away. The barbecue, dock, a buoy, picnic table near the beach, two kayaks and a canoe are available for your use. Campfires are allowed on the beach unless a provincial burn ban is in effect. A boat launch for a fee is available at Totem Resort, 5 minutes away. Basic groceries and marine gas are also available at Totem Resort. The cabin has one bedroom with a queen sized bed. It also has a double futon in the common area. It works well for 2 adults. For 4 adults, or a family with 2 children, 2 need to sleep on the futon in the common area which can be darkened with blinds and/or blackout fabric (provided by owner). There is a small space in the bedroom if you are 2 adults with a very young child who can sleep on the floor in the bedroom. (you provide mattress or padding) All spaces in the cabin are on one level except the futon which is 4 steps down. This is a pet free, smoke free cabin. You may have one dog with you if the dog is comfortable staying outside the cabin at all times. The dog would need to be secured in a crate or on a leash at night on one of the decks. Your dog is welcome on the beach and in the lake if accompanied by an adult. WiFi is included in the rent.     Awesome condo, obviously taken great care of. Very well equipped and responsive owners. A little far to walk to/from the village (20-30 min) after a day of skiing. We were stressing about all the rules listed everywhere though so we were not able to fully relax. Stayed with hubby and two 13 yr old boys and we are not partiers or reckless by any means but we kept worrying about the owner's various fines.
