    You found it. The perfect luxury townhouse in Big White for up to nine (9) guests in our three bedroom home away from home. Grizzly Ridge Trail #2’s location is awesome for those that want convenience without the loud sounds of the village. We back onto Serwa’s green run that leads from the top of the mountain all the way down to the two main chairs; Ridge Runner (Quad) and Snow Ghost (6-Pack) plus the village access chair, Plaza Chair. Conveniently located in Snow Pines, there are four ways to the main village; ski down to Plaza Chair, walk via the lighted pathway (about a 10 minute walk), take the free shuttle bus that stops nearby (runs every 20-30 minutes) or drive to Holiday Valley area and take Laura’s Gondola up. Ski-in & ski-out is important to us. That is why we love our location. Serwa’s is right behind us. Walk up to the run (access from just beside our complex). Coming back, just repeat. There is always the option of taking the village shuttle once the lifts close for the day and you are still in the village. Updated on the website Entry Floor Firstly, we have room for two vehicles, a bit of a rarity in Big White. Once you park in our garage and the second vehicle in the driveway (never park on any road in Big White or you will likely be towed), you will never need to touch them again during your stay. The entry floor is heated slate which is great – warm and keeps the wet from boots and clothes dried-up. The first bedroom is located down the hall with a closet, Optic TV and two bunkbeds (single over single and a double under a single). Right beside the bedroom is a full bathroom and those heated floors. Main Floor Make your way up the first flight of stairs to our main living area. The beautiful wood flooring, decorating and comfy living room will be a welcome setting after enjoying Big White’s famous champagne power snow. From here you can easily walkout to our rear deck with our massive 9’x 9’ hot tub and use our gas BBQ. Watch the skiers come down Serwas. The spacious kitchen is fully equipped (see amenities list) including electric stove/oven, fridge, dishwasher and microwave. Close by is the walk-in pantry. The dining area sits six-eight comfortably with three more chairs at the nearby breakfast bar. The living room has recently been updated with a new wall mounted “Smart” TV connected to Telus’s Optic TV providing you with a lot of viewing choices. There is also a Blu-ray DVD player and lots of board games. The TV is above the propane gas fireplace (automatic thermostat controlled) and is surrounded by two armchairs, leather couch and a matching love seat. Don’t forget to look out the front windows to enjoy the mountain view. Top Floor This is where you recover from your ski day. In the front is the master bedroom and beautiful views of the Monashee Mountain range, queen bed and ensuite. Plenty of closet space and drawers are provided for your clothes. In the hallway you will find the washer & drier along with our third, fully equipped bathroom. The back bedroom has views of Serwas and it too has a queen size bed and lots of closet space. Where there is not luxury deep pile carpeting you will find heated slate floors!

    We have skied and boarded here at Big White since 2006 and in that time we have stayed in accommodation all over the mountain. We know what is important in choosing accommodation for a ski/snow board vacation and our home ticks all the boxes. First, Legends is located literally beside "Hummingbird", a green run from the Village that runs down to 3 chairlifts. We have the ultimate in ski in/ ski out. When heading out, simply step thru the door from the living room onto the lower level deck, collect your skis or board from the secure, on deck storage, step off the deck on to the snow and away you go. Take an easy, 2 minute warm up run down to the Plaza Chair, the Ridge Rocket Express or the Snow Ghost Express Six Pack. At the end of the day, take an easy 2 minute run from the Village down Hummingbird right to your deck. Absolutely NO walking and absolutely NO carrying equipment. It could not be easier. Second, you have spectacular views across the valley to the Monashee Mountains, to be enjoyed from the upper and lower levels and from the hot tub. You can lie in bed in the master bedroom and look across Hummingbird. You can sit in the hot tub and watch the skiers and boarders below. Also in the hot tub, you have a ringside seat for the Saturday night fireworks at Happy Valley (check out the last photo in the gallery!). Third, you are a quick 5 minute walk from Mountain Services and the Village Centre, where shops, restaurants, the Ski and Boarding School and other activities are located. There is a mountain shuttle service that runs past Legends every 30 minutes and the pick up/drop of point is a 1 minute stroll away if you don't want to walk. From our home, you can walk across Hummingbird to the Village Way and Happy Valley is only a 15 minute walk down the Hill. You don't even need to walk back up - you can take Lara's Gondola from Happy Valley back up to the Village. On top of all of this, our home offers a relaxed, comfortable stay, in a recently remodeled, timber post and beam construction condo. We have 2 gas rock fireplaces, in the master bedroom and living room, with the living room fireplace recently rebuilt. We have 10 foot ceilings to the lower level and we have recently repainted. We offer free wireless internet and pay TV through 3 new flat screen TVs in the living room, master bedroom and family room. We have everything to keep the kids happy including DVD player and movies, Play Station 3, books, board games and lots more. There are hooks and shelving for the storage of clothing, boots and equipment in the combination laundry and boot room so these items are not in the way when not in use. There is even an electric boot warmer ! The hot tub is checked and serviced professionally every other day and we can arrange a full cleaning and bed linen service at cost if requested. We provide everything you'll need including bed linen, towels, face washers, cups, glasses, dishes, cutlery, cooking equipment and utensils, cooking and cleaning appliances and more.     The 26' Travel Trailer is yours to use while you stay. It has both AIR CONDITIONING and heating to keep you comfortable. The kitchen has a small fridge and freezer and a 3 burner gas range with oven. The bathroom has a small tub and shower, but typical to a travel trailer the hot water tank is small. A TV and DVD player and movies are provided. It comes fully stocked, including bedding, towels, a coffee maker, kettle, toaster, dishes and pots and pans. If you need something we haven't already provided, just let us know and we will do what we can to assist you. The space is suitable for a single person, couple or couple with kids. There is one queen sized bed in the bedroom, plus the dinette and sofa convert to small beds suitable for children or adults 5'3" or shorter. We welcome your pets, to a maximum of 2 due to space restrictions. Outside the property is a fire pit for your personal use (dependant on fire restrictions). Limited amounts of firewood will also be provided. We provide the fixings for breakfast while you stay, including coffee, tea, fruit, bread, cereal and eggs. We also provide basic condiments, sugar, salt and pepper, ketchup, mustard, relish, milk and cream. All you need to bring are your cooking skills and bacon. There is no cell service on the property making this the perfect place if you want to go "off the grid" for a few days. Wifi is available but due to limited data availability we ask that our guests do not use any streaming services while they stay with us. We have a small hobby farm with Chickens and Ducks that roam the property during the day. We also have 2 young Labs that spend a lot of time playing outside. Please let us know ahead of time if this is a problem and we will keep them away during your stay. The 10 acre property backs right on to the Trans Canada Trail and is bordered by crown land, making it a perfect place for hiking or biking. We have a seasonal creek and pond on the property with pathways cut into the field for you to enjoy. Guests are welcome to roam the property while they are staying. We ask that they do not enter the buildings on the property including the house, cabin, greenhouse, workshop and chicken coop. We work from home and are outside for the majority of the day. We are available if you need anything, but if you want privacy we are happy to leave you alone. There is no cell service or cable available here. The trailer is off the grid in almost every sense of the word. However, a phone is available for making calls and limited wifi is also available.
