    The view from here is - "just stunning but wait until you see the pool..." ... Villa is - "simply beautiful " Two comments form guests in August 2016 Villa is for sure, a really special property for both friends and families to enjoy. Tucked away on the sleepy hillside of Castiglion Fiorentino and where guests can make this their "home from home" - The property welcomed its first guests in May 2016, - The villa is set within an olive grove where the visible ruins of an ancient defence castle of Castiglion Fiorentino can be explored and enjoyed. Adjacent to the larger villa is a (deconsecrated) church from the 12th century which has also being restored. The Villa and its annex provide three bedrooms, three bathrooms, modern kitchens, 2 sitting rooms, a vast terrace with some of the loveliest views of the valley and the town of Castiglion along with the private Infinity Edge pool - strategically situated to enjoy the fabulous views. It is about 3 km from the town, where there are many restaurants, bars and shops and, there is also small shop,bar and restaurant just across the valley if you did not want to travel into the town, Much like the other villas here, this is also a good location - an excellent base to explore Tuscany its many hill towns, festivals, wineries and countryside including easy easy day trips to Cortona, Pienza, Montepulciano, Siena etc - Florence is also easy by either car (1 hour) or by train from our local station. This is one of our first reviews from May 2016. A first review says: “The houses are surrounded by a beautiful old olive grove. There are two terraces overlooking the valley and a very nice infinity swimming pool. The view is breathtaking. I have been in this valley before but the view here beats everything. There is a small terrace in the back to catch the early morning sun. The large (Giant) terraces in the front catch the sun from 10 am to sunset. For people like me who love to read in the shade : plenty of shade available under the surrounding trees. The olive groves around the houses are actually grassy meadows, ideal for children's play. In the woods on top of the hill behind the house lie the remains of a 13 th century castle. You have to drive up a drivable access road from the valley floor to reach this house. The next and only other house is 100 m down. The road continues up the hill for another 1.6 km, winding through beautiful olive groves and forests, offering breathtaking views. Then then for easy hiking, road changes into a hiking trail that joins the hiking trail that circumvent the valley. We were the first occupants in a newly developed property. We were two couples and stayed a week in May 2016. The property consist of two houses. The smaller one , just a few meters away, has one bedroom, with a king size bed, bathroom and a living space with kitchen. Tho main house has two bedrooms, with king size bed and the other with two single beds. The main house has two bathrooms. A dining room, sitting room and separate kitchen. Hendrik, NL. Take the cable cars to Monte and visit and the Monte Palace Gardens, then brave the toboggan ride down to Funchal centre or visit the Botanical gardens, the bird park and the orchid gardens. The area "YOU", where you can read a book or relax after a busy day, lying in the "Chaise Lounge" also from the prestigious designer Le Corbusier. The third zone, "WORK AREA", with a very functional desk, transparent glass table, a chair, a desk lamp and a shelf where you can organize your work while being constantly connected to the high-speed Internet through Wi-Fi. The fourth area is the "DINING AREA" designed into circular shape surrounding the dining table, creating an intimate and exclusive atmosphere. The dining area is decorated with exquisite hand painted Italian paper of high quality and a designer lamp. Some reviews from previous guests: Mike Amazing apartment, I cannot recommend it enough. 5 star + It has the highest standards through out & if you are looking for a base in Madrid then this place is PERFECT It is situated in a great location, close to Ventas tube & a couple of supermarkets & therefore easy to get to Sol and La Latina. Elliot arrived late by 3 hours but the host was only too happy to come out late and show us the apartment. The bathroom was clean, shower powerful, bed linen and bedrooms all immaculate. Really quick 10 min taxis into central madrid, next to the famous ventas bullring. Would definitely recommend. Calgar After having a wonderful stay at our host's Barcelona apartment, we moved to Madrid to stay in his Madrid apartment as well. Madrid is a beautiful city and this apartment is definitely a very good choice for a relaxing vacation in Madrid. It is quite huge with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a big kitchen with every necessary utensil and a very spacious beautiful terrace. We enjoyed a lot having our breakfasts at the open-view terrace. The apartment is nicely designed with quality furniture, and the bed was quite comfy as well. Though the apartment is not located within the city center, there are two metro stations very close by the apartment, around 2 to 3 minutes on foot. These stations are on major lines that connects you to the various stations in the city center in 20 minutes at most. Or you may opt to walk as once we did and it takes around 40 minutes. Getting to the apartment from the airport is again quite easy using the metro. There are 2 supermarkets that are within 200 meters range and there are some restaurants and bars as well. Checking in and out went quite smooth for us. Our host greeted us himself upon our arrival, and gave us information about the city and the surroundings of the apartment, along with a map and a tourist guide-book. On the check-out day, our plane was taking off a little bit late, but although he had other guests coming in the same day, Roberto arranged for us to leave our luggages in until 3pm. He is a very friendly and caring host and he was always available for any question through phone or SMS. All in all, we enjoyed our stay in Madrid a lot and I could sincerely recommend this host and his beautiful apartment in Madrid. Damali My friends and I have a wonderful stay in this unit. The terrace was such a great surprise, given the size and view. Madrid is a marvelous city, which I wish we had more time in to explore it a little more. If I ever return there, I know where I will stay.

Furnished in classic Tuscan style, the apartment is very comfortably fitted with all modern comforts whilst retaining many original characteristics such as beamed ceilings and terracotta floors. The ground floor which opens directly onto the garden, consists of a pretty living room, furnished with two settees (one of which converts to a double bed on request), armchairs and satellite television, an eat in country style kitchen, and a washroom. On the first floor are two charming bedrooms, and with double four poster bed, the other with twin beds and a shower room. The apartments private garden is perfect for relaxing or dining al fresco and there is plenty more space around the lovely swimming pool set in a secluded position below the house. There is a little reception area, a laundry room with washing machine, WiFi internet connection, a built in barbecue for guests use and vegetable garden in the grounds. Also on the estate are four further apartments and a separate private villa with its own swimming pool which are also rented. The local town with a good selection of amenities is just 2km away, and all Tuscany's main sights are within easy driving distance.

The contacts of taxi ranks are available in the apartment. The Malaga's Airport is 9 KM from the residence. If you wish, you can also rent a car from the airport terminal or in Benalmadena. Finally, if you enjoy the boat, a shuttle boat serves the coast from the Puerto Parina, Malaga or Fuengirola. It is only 2km from San Gimignano and its selection of shops and excellent local restaurants, and many of the regions other sights are within easy driving distance. Florence and Siena are both easily accessible via main road and rail links from nearby Poggibonsi.

There are two cottages in total (see ID: 248857) and are adjoined to the owners 16th Century Half Timbered Farm House overlooking the historic Church in the picturesque hamlet of Milson. Our farm awaits to welcome you. This luxurious, light and airy self catering cottage in Shropshire is presented to a very high standard. Individually designed and furnished with care and attention to detail and enhanced by a mixture of contemporary and period presentation with no expense spared. We have retained a wealth of exposed ceiling and wall timbers and have added English Oak floors, staircases, doors and joinery throughout certainly adding to the “wow” factor. We are quite fussy individuals, and expect high standards when we have holidays so have kept that in mind and have applied this to the cottages. This has gained us 5 Star Gold Visit England award. Since becoming holiday let owners we have been overwhelmed by the lovely people we have let our properties to. We’ve really enjoy meeting and sharing our property and surroundings with other people who can appreciate it as much as we do. This complex is residential and many occupants live here all year round which means that it is not a party space but yet very welcoming of those who are there to relax. In addition there is a wide variety of good quality restaurants and bars even closer than the beach. There is no need to have a car in this area unless you are golfers or want to travel a bit further afield. There are many excellent golf courses within 15-40 minutes drive The gated complex has a pool that has a southern aspect and gets sun for most of the daylight hours. We have owned this apartment since our children were in their early teens and now that they are adults we all continue to love this space and it's environs.

    We (me, my wife and 2 kids) had a 10 days vacations in Velanidia and it was the best choice.
    I will start with the beginning. The owner of the property is a very friendly and full of hospitality person. He share with us a lot of informations and tips about the surroundings and the informations were priceless. We saw some of the best beaches and places from the area (Fakistra beach and Mylopotamos beaches are a must to see). so as Pelion Mountains.
    The accommodation was more then beautiful. 10m from the sea, next to a tavern where you have to try the local drink Tsipouro (is made by Ianis the owner of the tavern). Also try the lamb and the ribeye steak and of course the fresh fish and sea food every day.
    The accomodation has everything you need for a perfect vacation. Nice cozy bedrooms, 2 terraces, barbecue and a beautiful green garden. The sea is perfect for kids .
    We really had a great time and again thank you to the owner for everything.

    Myself, my partner, my sister and our 5 children stayed at this villa. It had absolutely everything that a family requires and although our 5 children are all teenagers and above there was an awesome well equipped games room as well as the pool plus use of all the floats etc. The villa itself is also beautifully equipped with a fully stocked kitchen and pool house (just add your own food!!) and a lovely touch of crisps and a bottle of bubbly to greet us with which was really welcome and kind. The communications with the owner were all timely, polite, extremely accommodating.

    There is plenty to do in the surrounding areas, however a car is a must. Eating in using the bbq is lovely however I would recommend eating once the light goes down (less insects). There are many local bars and restaurants (again you will need to drive) with great tapas. Definitely recommend a trip into Murcia and Cartegena for a touch of history and culture. T
    he beach is around a 40-45 minute drive dependending on which direction you go so not so bad. .

    The Spanish are really friendly as a whole, Julie the lady who greeted us and Dave who maintained the pool were really helpful and friends too.

    All in all, a super property to holiday in, it's peaceful, relaxing yet when you want to go exploring there is plenty to do! A perfect blend and something for everyone is there.
