The Open Plan Kitchen, Dining and Living room provides a social atmosphere. The fully equipped kitchen provides a full set of stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher, microwave, oven, toaster, coffee maker and fridge/freezer. In the neighbouring village of Vasterival there is the magnificent park of Vasterival, owned by Princes Sturdza. The largest collection of hortensias in the world (more than 1000 types) can be visited in Varengeville (Shamrock collection). The castle of Miromesnil, where Guy De Maupassant spent his youth, is certainly worth a visit, as well as the Manoir d’Ango, the château home of Jehan Ango, a pirate and one of Dieppe's most historically flamboyant characters. White cliffs and large beaches are at walking distance from the house. Some beaches are wild and untouched, with incredible rock formations, others are more touristic. The house is embraced by woods within a rolling landscape of fields. It is at the sea but in the countryside. The village is a about one km away: butcher, the best bakery of the area, general store, newspaper store, restaurant, pharmacy, doctor, garage… all in one street. The coast and the countryside are rich of picturesque villages: Veules-les Roses, Saint-Valery-en-Caux, Etretat, Luneray, La Chapelle-sur-Dun... The house is well situated to visit Claude Monet's Giverny gardens, the Normandy beaches, and for day trips to Paris or Rouen. There are plenty of walking and biking possibilities in the area. Swimming in the sea, as well as in the brand-new swimming pool along the sea in Dieppe. Beaches at Quiberville-sur-Mer or Pourville-sur-Mer are ideal to play with kites. Tennis and sailing are possible in the surrounding villages. Horse-back riding is available 3,5 km away at Hautot-sur-Mer. There is a great golf course overlooking the sea between Varengeville and Dieppe. Paragliding and other flying sports in Saint-Aubin-sur-Scie. The “Auberge du Relais” is the restaurant in Varengeville, with a good menu, friendly staff and good prices. In the day it is a brasserie where you can have a bite in the garden. In the Cidrerie of the Castle of Varengeville you can buy local products (cider and honey). In Vasterival (Suite Marguerite-sur-Mer), a neighbouring village, there is the restaurant of “La Terrasse” (with sea view).

Family & Friends This trullo is ideal for six people – two couples with their own independent accommodation or a young family with two children, travelling with friends or grandparents, wishing to holiday together but with the benefit of their own private space. The trullo interiors: The property is comprised of two independent units, sleeping 4 and 2 respectively, each self-contained with kitchen and bath/shower room. 1 – The larger of the units, the principal trullo sleeps 4, made up of six cones, one of which has an expressive truncated top with a round hole; many years ago this would have been covered with a movable circular slab, to access grain, hay or straw stored inside. (Today it serves to give additional light and ventilation). The trullo is comprised as follows: the main entrance leads to an open plan living area with working fireplace, dining for 6 and kitchen plus two bedrooms, a double & a twin, each with built-in wardrobes and drawer units, guests share a bathroom. 2 – The second trullo accommodation, ideal for two (a child’s cot may be added) has conjoined trulli cones with a wooden mezzanine created within the conical roof above the beams. Once upon a time, this would have been used to hide family belongings & possessions or as it has been suggested, even secret admirers. The trullo accommodation is spacious and comfortable for two adults. The conjoined trulli have been adapted to accommodate a double bed, built-in wardrobe with kitchen corner, shower room and dining/seating area. With a log stove, ideal for cosy winter nights. The trullo exteriors: The adjoining trullo accommodations with their conical roofs are accessible by an outside stairway built into the roof, which you can also see on the façade of the second trullo. Traditionally, atop of the trullo you would find the stonemason’s signature, a handmade sand stone pinnacle which could be a disk, ball, cone, bowl, polyhedron, or a combination thereof. If you look closely at the photos you will be able to see the pinnacles of this trullo. Surrounding the trullo there are 8 hectares of olive orchards, shrubland and a variety of fruit trees. The grounds immediately surrounding the trullo have been laid with grass and Mediterranean plants and shrubs. **Within the grounds of this Trullo there is also a modernly styled farmhouse which is unoccupied during any period that guests are in residence at the Trullo. The infinity swimming pool – salt based – 12 x 6 metres with a maximum depth of 2.4 metres – is detached from the trullo property and behind the farmhouse. For the safety and protection of guests, there is an automated fabric pool cover available. Comfortable sun loungers for all the guests and umbrellas by the poolside. Kalkan is a very attractive historic town which has become a sophisticated tourist destination along the Turkish Turquoise Riviera.     'We had a brilliant time!' Our beaming visitors say Béral is the perfect getaway for adults and for kids. The traditional 18th-century farmhouse in white Quercy stone is matched by the splendour of its private pool, large terrace with ping-pong & barbeque, orchard and exquisite setting. All has been sensitively restored to be characterful but with modern conveniences. The property is set into the side of a hill, with everything facing south; the terrace, pool and gardens are spread out to give wonderful views over the fields of sunflowers. Inside, the farmhouse has a large main living room, with stone and whitewashed walls, a traditional corner kitchen and a beamed open fireplace. To either side are delightful bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with a king and a cot if needed. All the rooms have views over the valley. The upstairs bathroom has a hipbath with a shower, and a toilet. Downstairs are two more bedrooms - both with antique floor tiles and two single beds - and a second bathroom. The house has been tastefully restored to retain all its ancient character, but with modern facilities throughout. The house is particularly well laid out for a single family or two families together. But the upper floor is also fantastic for a couple traveling alone. There are too many attractions in the area to suggest more than a few. Among the distinctive villages, Lascabanes has beautiful flowers and a lovely church; Lauzerte, high on a hill, a carefully restored bastide with a remarkable town square and good festivals; Saint-Cirq Lapopie, a 45-minute drive up the Lot, is the most famous village of the area, a medieval town in a spectacular cliffside setting hanging over the river - good restaurants too; Montpezat-de-Quercy has a beautiful arcaded square, and half-timbered houses. Rocamadour is not far away. Figeac is well worth a visit, with its museum to Champollion, who cracked the code of the Rosetta Stone. With the porous limestone prevalent on the causse, there are important caves in the area. The most famous is the huge underground village of Peche Merle, with its prehistoric paintings and traces of early man (up the Célé river from Cahors). The most well-known museums in the area include the Toulouse Lautrec museum in Albi (which also has a wonderful red-brick cathedral), the Musée des Beaux Arts in Agen, and the Musée d'Ingres in Montaubon. There are many other types of museum covering every aspect of Quercy life. Among the cathedrals and abbeys, apart from Albi, you might consider driving to the wonderful abbey at Moissac, which also has a stunning set of well-preserved cloisters.     Unfortunately we had to shorten our vacation and return to Canada on March18 although we had rented the condo until April 15. The covid-19 crisis was spreading across Spain and we had to leave this very comfortable condo. We rented a car in Malaga and a car is needed if you want to visit Estepona and surronding area. The condo is at about 10 km from Estepona historical village. There was plenty of free parking place in Estepona and at the condo. The condo building and hallway is not very attractive but once in the condo it is very clean, very comfortable and well equiped. The kitchen is small and the oven fan was not working but other than this small problem everything else was working fine. The heating system works well to cut down on humidity when outside weather is rather cold. The access to international TV was extremely useful since we needed information on the status of the pandemic in Spain. We enjoyed our first week when we spent every day walking in Estepona and discovering this beautiful and colorful city. The second week we stayed at the condo to avoid being affected by the virus. We then discover the walk along the beach in Bahia Dorada and we enjoyed this daily walk just minutes from the condo. The Mercadona grocery store is only five minutes from the codo. You can easily find plenty of fresh local products: fish, vegetables, fruits, wine and bread.

    This was the first time we were in Portugal. We had booked this apartment on line and were totally surprised when we arrived. It was very clean and very well laid out. Excellent security, a beautiful view from the balcony of the ocean where we could watch the tides and the fishermen collecting oysters,and clams.Lots of great restaurants within walking distance and a waterfront with many boats coming and going.
    We were very satisfied even though we had to leave early due to the Virus pendemic
