    This is a charming 15th Century stone house located in the heart of the village of Beynac, listed as one of the most beautiful villages in France. The chateau at Beynac is on the top of a 500-foot cliff and the village houses are positioned below - providing privacy and spectacular views from one side of the house, and village life on the other. Extraordinary views of the magnificent Dordogne river and the Valley of the Five Chateaux present themselves from each of the four floors. The front door opens directly from the cobblestone streets - just steps from our private and unique parking grotte - into the main room of approximately 60 sq. Meters. Honey-colored stone walls, stone tile floor, ancient wooden beams, and a huge medieval fireplace set the tone for this main floor. A fully applianced kitchen with granite countered cooking area is built into one of the old fireplaces.     The house is very private and secure behind a locked gate. The bedrooms are cool and airy and we've never slept so well. Outdoors is a bbq, pizza oven and fireplace ideal for outdoor dinning in beautiful weather. The House is so well stocked and behind the cupboard doors is literally everything you can think of. Our host was so accommodating, picked us up from the airport and took us back. It's a 20 min walk to the town square where you can catch a bus to anywhere on the island. We have left you the bus timetable. The people are so friendly and everyone speaks some English making communication so easy. We will definitely be back.

    We had a fabulous time in Flayosc. This property is very charming and comfortable. We were looking for a quiet holiday to walk and cycle in the countryside and that is exactly what we got. We were pleased to find such fine dining just steps away and we also enjoyed morning coffee outdoors just below our bedroom in Place du Village. We visited several villages close by and ventured to Gorges de Verdon and St. Tropez as well. Our host provided all of the information we needed to enjoy activities in the surrounding area in the perfect spring weather.
