Our holiday home is composed by 4 units (two or three rooms, up to 5 sleeps): 2 in villa with garden and 2 in a dependance derived from the careful renovation of an old country house, the house of my grandparents. This unit is part of the old country house.It's a two- rooms apartment (3 sleeps) composed by kitchen living with a single bed sofa-bed, double bed bedroom, bathroom with shower and hot tub, washing machine. It's the smallest (and also the cheapest) of our apartments, but very comfortable for a couple, or a family with a child. All units are very comfortable and also suitable for very young children (for which we provide free cots, high chairs), groups or elderly. Quiet area,surrounded by nature, at 800 meters from the beach, with seaview. All apartments have private entrance, ground floor, and are fully furnished and equipped with TV sat, microwave, and a lot of other facilities free wifi. House linen (towels, bedlinen, etc, provided for free. Large garden with private space for outdoor dining, private parking and barbecue area equipped with a small playground. Swimming pool with panoramic terrace (sea view and surrounding hills) and large solarium both paved in local stone, to relax and sunbathe. We hope you will feel the same way after spending time in our Italian home. Near the ancient hill town of Volterra, surrounded by the green Tuscan countryside is our villa. Part of Borgo Collevicchi, we are on the top of a hill in the heart of Tuscany with breathtaking views of nearby valleys. This newly restored farm outbuilding contains our apartment. Our apartment is surrounded by landscaped gardens & cypress trees, all reflective of the perfect Tuscan landscape. It has all the modern amenities yet captures the Tuscan feel of architecture and design. Each of the two well appointed bedrooms has it's own air conditioner to provide comfort during the hot summer nights. To enjoy nature's gentle breezes, magnetized bug screens have been installed to allow the double doors to remain open without letting in nature's tiny creatures. Enjoy beautiful dreams on our pillow top mattresses in both bedrooms. The master bedroom features 2 extra long twin beds that can connect to form a King size bed or be enjoyed separately. The master also has an en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom has a Queen bed. The living room has a pullout queen size sofa bed. There is a second full bathroom available for guests. The kitchen features a gas stove, oven, dishwasher and full fridge. The apartment also features a washing machine with a private courtyard to air dry your laundry. The entire apartment is on the ground level and has no stairs, easy for small children or guests with mobility issues. Enjoy al fresco dining under your pergola in your private garden while savoring the panoramic views of Volterra. After dinner, enjoy a glass of wine on the outdoor couch and then take in the sunset from the pool deck. A panoramic pool makes the borgo an even more special & relaxing place after a day of sightseeing in Tuscany. The pool is open from mid June to mid September and is 8 metres by 4 metres. Our property manager will greet you upon arrival, or on your first day depending on flight times/arrival time at the apartment. This is a 3-storey building completely refurbished in 2016, where we also reside, with our respective families. Being on site is a real benefit and bonus for our guests: looking after the common spaces and gardens is a personal and absolute priority, but more importantly there is always someone of the family available for information or special needs or requests.Located on the corner of via Txu Terrat and via Toda, two small and quiet streets in a residential area south of the city. The area has little traffic and is surrounded by trees and plants, open spaces and very convenient free parking available in nearby Piazzetta Cao giving you the opportunity of leaving your car behind and walking to the center of town, a short 15 minute stroll away.The location is very appreciated by our guests. If the tranquility of the area favors relaxation and rest, its strategic position allows you to reach the vibrant and lively city life just as easily: no more than a quarter of an hour to the renowned old town of Alghero (1.4km away), the port, marina and some of the inner city beaches (Las Tronas beach at approx 700mt and the Lido at approx 3km). An ideal position to live and enjoy an active and fulfilling vacation: enjoyable trails in the immediate vicinity for jogging and biking. From Lungomare Valencia (located just 550mt from Alkira) stretching across the city along the seafront for approx 11km, there is a panoramic bicycle lane that ends at the magnificent beaches of Le Bombarde and Lazzaretto, both approx 10.8 and 12.4km north of Alghero. It is easy to reach the many beaches without having to use a car even for the laziest vacationer: with the Beach Bus Alghero (nearest bus-stop on Lungomare Valencia, down the road from our apartments at approx 550mt) you can discover the beauty of all the beaches on the north coast leading to Capo Caccia (mainland entrance to the Neptune’s Caves) and Porticciolo thanks to a convenient shuttle bus connection ( active from 1st June to the 15th September with a daily service from 08.00am to 12.00pm). Furthermore from a commercial point of view the area is well serviced: supermarkets, butcher shop, delicious pastry shop, bars, hairdressing salons, drugstore, bakery and restaurants offer pleasant shopping and dining opportunities. Our Two-bedroom apartment TAU is located on the 2nd floor (no elevator) with access from Via Txu Terrat, it is composed of a kitchenette with breakfast nook, living area, 2 bedrooms (one double bed and one single bed, accommodating max 3), bathroom with shower and amenities, 2 terraces. A comfortable environment of approximately 45sqm, perfect for small families or small groups (up to 3 people).

Podere Fontegallo is on a hill in the tranquil Umbrian countryside just a ten minute drive from Tuscany, with breathtaking views of gentle rolling hills, Lake Trasimeno, Lake Chuisi, Medieval hilltop villages and mountains in the distance on the horizon. The house draws its particular charm from the uniqueness of its architectural surroundings.
