We have stayed in a lot of vacation homes over the years and this one ranks right up with the best (and far more expensive) of them. Well appointed with an infinity pool to die for, the home made the 6 of us feel relaxed and happy when we returned from our near daily excursions. I really don't have anything negative to say at all other than we didn't want to leave. It is conveniently located to almost all the activities that one does on the island from surfing, scuba diving, snorkeling, horse back riding in the Waipi'o Valley and going to visit the Volcano. We spent evenings in the pool watching the sun set and then made dinner and once again, went out poolside to enjoy our meal as the last vestiges of daylight disappeared. There is a very good grill right near the pool and a fully stocked kitchen (other than food, of course). We were able to find everything we needed to cook even the most elaborate of meals. There is even a wine fridge. All in all, this place deserves 5 stars. The home owner's guide to food, beaches, shopping and other activities was an endless supply of good information though we could add a few of our own, including Luna's Cafe in the Waipi'o Valley and Big Island Divers for the night Manta ray dive (a once in a lifetime experience for the intrepid diver or snorkeler) and Paradise Helicopter for an open door ride over the active volcano. As you pass through the gate to the home and start up the stairs, you have a small stairwell that leads to a private swimming pool. The pool area is tiled with Colorado Slate and has a couple of lounge chairs as well as an outdoor shower to rinse off in. As you enter the home you have a small foyer area that has access to one of the bedrooms as well as the main living area. As you proceed into the main room, you are welcomed to a spacious living room, dining room and kitchen area with vaulted ceilings. The dining room features a square table with seating for four and has easy access to the kitchen.     It had everything I needed and then some. Linens were clean. Kitchen was immaculate. Good ice maker. Washer and dryer in unit. Great view of ocean. Pool area spacious with ample chairs. Grounds were immaculate. Plenty of hot water. Smart TVs. Excellent grilling area shielded from rain and sun. Ample parking. Close to shopping and restaurants in walking distance. WiFi was more than adequate. I hope to come back.

The house is located in a great neighborhood, very quiet, and has everything you need for a home base. The porch/lanai was wonderful and private. Great location with easy access to beaches, shopping, and other towns. Cool at night and great breezes during the day. Would stay here again.
