Our Purcell Condo is located right on the Kimberley Ski Resort mountain. It is one of the very few buildings strategically located on the ski resort where you can ski-in/ ski-out. Our home is the closest house on the mountain to a ski trail. 3 beautiful, huge King beds, a double trundle that can convert to a King, a double and a futon that folds down to a twin. The front dining area, balcony and Master bedroom window seat all have panoramic views of the Columbia river valley and the Canadian Rockies. Heated wood and slate floors. Air hockey, table tennis and pool table await you down in the den. We have lots of board games, cards, puzzles and movies for your use. We are two avid skiers who bought our house for ski trips with family and friends and eventual retirement. We first skied at Kicking Horse in 2004 as part of our yearly ski trip with friends to the Canadian Rockies. Our day at Kicking Horse was the favorite of everyone on the trip. We couldn't believe how great the snow was, how big the mountain was and how few people there were. In 2009 we were looking to buy and we decided to come back to double check if everything we remembered about it was true. It was and we happened to stumble upon a great deal on this home and jumped at the opportunity. With any life changing event there is always a little voice that wonders if you are doing the right thing. That voice went away and never came back after we had to stop for a black wolf in the middle of the road between Banff and Golden. We knew this was the place for us. We also own the next door unit which is mirror image, ID 227323. Perfect for groups. These are the two largest condos in the Kimberley Ridge development at 1500 sqft living space per unit. Four permanent real beds (3 queen, 1 double) and three comfortable pull-out beds (2 queen + 1 double in loft and living room). The unit is also equipped with two Ikea mattresses and all bedding. Master has double sink ensuite bathroom. The master bedroom has a queen bed in the closed off loft area and has a double sink, ensuite bathroom. Both main floor bedrooms have queen beds and one ensuite. There are two queen sized, pull-out couches in living room and one double pull-out couch in the loft (outside of the master bedroom). Wifi throughout the unit. There are two balconies (decks). The largest of which faces the ski hill and has a natural gas BBQ with patio furniture and catches the afternoon sun. The east facing deck has the 8 person hot tub that is kept to hospitality standards clean (professionally serviced weekly). A very nicely appointed suite. Solid wood doors, wood floors, granite counters, well equipped kitchen. Living room is very cozy with fireplace and TV. Private secure and reliable internet is included. Tastefully furnished and genuinely a very pleasant and cozy suite: the kitchen, living room, powder room is all on the main floor, with access to a large patio is just steps away from the complex shared hot tub. Upstairs are bedrooms and a large bathroom with heated tile floors, large Jacuzzi tub and shower, laundry, soaps and shampoos. The lobby in Red Robs has a shuffleboard as well as a dart board and ski lockers (ski to within 60ft of your locker!). Flat, easy walk to Red Mountain Resort’s day lodge about 100m (4 minutes or so (in a snow storm)). Enjoy shuttle to downtown Rossland operating daily. Or eat in at Fresh Restaurant, located within the same building. Quite simply, a very nice place to be at home, even romantic. Classy and comfortable.

This air conditioned 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo is located in the Bruce Building of Lake Windermere Pointe and is dog friendly ($25/night up to a maximum of $100+tax). This condo features an open concept fully equipped kitchen, dining space and living room. The living room is equipped with a flat screen television and DVD player. The living room also features a double futon for extra sleeping arrangement. A laundry room with washer/dryer is found just off the entrance. In the winter months a very short walk up the street and you can strap on your skis/board and ride down to the gondola in minutes. Easily done, even with kids. For ski in, approach the runs located near the pioneer chair and ski in via the 'Westside' run. For avid cross country skiers the house is one of the closest to the Nordic Ski Centre. Three of the bedrooms have split kings (king beds that can be converted into twin beds). The fourth bedroom contains a double futon and a single bed in the loft near the master bedroom. For additional sleeping needs, there is a pull out couch in the master bedroom along with a day bed. Plus the media room also has a pull out couch. In total, we can accommodate 15 people, with 11 having their own beds. A crib/pack n play is available with a fitted sheet should you need it. On the top floor the oversize master suite enjoys a sitting area, gas fireplace, large flat screen TV, Blu-ray player, cable TV, Apple TV and next to the sofa bed there is a sound dock for your iPod. The granite detailed en-suite spa bath is accessed via the walk in closet. A small balcony and a large picture window complete this private and luxurious top floor retreat. Another bedroom located near the top of the stairs provides yet another comfortable sleeping area. The main floor enjoys soaring ceilings, has a spacious fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops. A large square dining table easily seats eight people, with another three people seated at the breakfast bar. The living room has amazing views, cozy couches and a large wood-burning fireplace. Just off the living room there is a wrap around deck with an undercover BBQ hooked up to a permanent gas line so you never have to worry about refilling a heavy tank. A sound system with CD player and iPod dock allow you to enjoy your own music by the fireplace. Relax with a glass of wine, your favorite book, and enjoy the 270-degree views. In the summer months open the windows and enjoy the mountain air. Located just off the main floor through the kitchen there is a mudroom to put your wet clothes, along with a full washer/dryer combo and a bathroom with a tiled shower. This room has heated flooring and drying hooks allowing your clothes and gear to dry quickly. The garage also has heated flooring and racks to put your skis/boards. On the lower floor there is ample space in the media room with a gas fireplace and a wet bar area. The two other bedrooms can sleep four in split kings. There is also a queen sofa bed and a full surround sound system with a large wall mounted flat screen TV. A Blu-ray player, Apple TV, PlayStation 3, Netflix, WIFI (accessible throughout the home) and an iPod dock are also included.
