    Lovingly built by a Swiss carpenter, our eco suite is great alternative to staying in a generic hotel. Enjoy the fresh air and space of the country setting only a 10 min drive from downtown Nelson. 30 minutes to Whitewater Ski Resort. Arrowhead Farm is situated on a quiet road, on our organic farm ( Arrowhead Farm) away from the highway, but with an easy accessto and from town. BioBio Suite is on the first floor. There are no steps from the parking to the suite and none within. The main suite is occupied by the owner. There is no overlap of living areas ensuring peace and privacy for both. BioBio suite has its own entrance and a fenced in yard separate from the yard of the main house. It has a lovely private patio. The suite has lots of natural light from its many windows. We designed the suite with In-floor geothermal heating, air exchange for the best indoor air quality and comfort of our guests. Only the best materials were used: solid wood, stone, low VOC paints to make for the healthiest environment possible. At 400 square feet, the suite is ideal for a single traveler or a couple, but would accommodate a family with up to 2 children. The suite consists of a living room, kitchen, bathroom, and 1 bedroom. The living room has a brand new leather sofa that unfolds into a full bed with a comfortable mattress ( BeautyRest) for additional sleeping spots, an armchair and an antique cabinet containing a TV. The bedroom has a queen bed with a brand new memory foam queen mattress, bedside tables, a closet and a dresser. The bathroom is compact with a toilet, a shower, a sink and a washer and dryer. The kitchen is beautiful with its wall of windows and the view of the valley, custom made walnut cabinets and granite counter tops. Other features: WiFi ( can be turned off on request), washer/dryer, fully equipped kitchen, TV, Netflix. While staying at the BioBio Suite you will have an option to buy our farm fresh organic produce, Kootenay Local Agricultural Society certified. The suite is located between two ski resorts - just 30 minutes drive to Whitewater Ski Resort, 45 minutes to Red Mountain Ski Resort and a short drive to Kootenay Lake. Enjoy the beautiful mountain views, from this private entranced suite. After a day of exploring or skiing, relax in the common area hot tub. The suite has a cozy wood fireplace and fully equipped kitchen. We are kid friendly and dogs are welcome. Enjoy a stay in our large 950q ft, one bedroom, one level ground floor suite, located in our family home. The suite has recently been renovated, complete with sound proofing. The suite has its own private entrance. It is located on the ground floor of our family home. Guests will access the apartment by a short walk, down through the yard. The home is situated on a beautiful 1.3 acre lot, surrounded by trees and with beautiful mountain views. The home is accessed down a paved driveway and there is ample parking in front of the home. The bedroom has 1 queen size bed with a cozy duvet. There is a large closet and dresser in the bedroom. The view from the bedroom is of the mountains and forest. There is an open plan living, dining and kitchen area. The convenience kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator/freezer, conventional oven, microwave, toaster, pots, pans, plates, cooking and eating utensils, Keurig coffee maker, complimentary coffee/tea. The living area has an oversized leather sectional and cable TV/DVD. The dining area can seat 4 guests. There are board games and books for guests to enjoy. There is 1 full bathroom with a shower over the bathtub. The bathroom is located next to the bedroom (not ensuite). The hot tub is located on the upper deck. It is shared with the main house and guests are welcome to use it between 10am and 10pm. Children are very welcome and a Pack n Play crib and toys are available.     The 26' Travel Trailer is yours to use while you stay. It has both AIR CONDITIONING and heating to keep you comfortable. The kitchen has a small fridge and freezer and a 3 burner gas range with oven. The bathroom has a small tub and shower, but typical to a travel trailer the hot water tank is small. A TV and DVD player and movies are provided. It comes fully stocked, including bedding, towels, a coffee maker, kettle, toaster, dishes and pots and pans. If you need something we haven't already provided, just let us know and we will do what we can to assist you. The space is suitable for a single person, couple or couple with kids. There is one queen sized bed in the bedroom, plus the dinette and sofa convert to small beds suitable for children or adults 5'3" or shorter. We welcome your pets, to a maximum of 2 due to space restrictions. Outside the property is a fire pit for your personal use (dependant on fire restrictions).
